On March 30, in order to provide users with more efficient and convenient services, Guangxi Yuchai Marine and Genset Power Co., Ltd. （YCMGP） launched its 2023 special service skills training program to empower the growth of marine & g-drive engine professional service stations.

The first session of the training was held in Weifang, Shandong Province, which gathered core service technical backbones, professional service technicians, and genset commissioning service personnel of marine & g-drive engine in the North China Marketing Center and Weifang Marketing Center of YCMGP.

The training mainly focused on the knowledge of new marine & g-drive engine products, fuel system control technology, common and difficult failure diagnosis and troubleshooting methods, the use of marine & g-drive engine service systems, etc. The training combined theoretical learning with practical exercises.

Trainers used case studies to explain the key points of problem analysis and handling to the trainees in a meticulous and patient manner. The training also included hands-on exercises for trainees to practice and master working principles, failure detection methods, and the disassembly and assembly process of each key part, as well as genset commissioning skills. Finally, the training concluded with on-site simulations and failure reproduction that allowed students to explore methods for fast and accurate analysis, judgment, and troubleshooting, thereby consolidating the knowledge points learned during the training.

Through training, the professional competence of the participating service personnel has been rapidly improved, especially in terms of a deeper understanding and mastery of new products and technologies. This has helped ensure the rapid introduction of YCMGP's new products into the market.
