[Working Hard for a Good Start] YCMGP Jointly Conducts Genset Use and Maintenance Training with a Key Account in the Breeding Industry

On March 8 and 9, technical backbones for engine services of Guangxi Yuchai Marine and Genset Power Co., Ltd. (YCMGP) went to the Binyang Branch of Muyuan Foods Co., Ltd. in Nanning to conduct the first centralized training of Muyuan Foods on the application and maintenance of gensets in the Yunnan-Guizhou region, helping their core management team to consolidate knowledge on safe operation, failure diagnosis and troubleshooting, and use and maintenance of gensets.

The training included theoretical training, theoretical examination, practical training, and operation examination. During the training, Yuchai's engine service technical backbones taught various knowledge points such as the structure and composition of diesel engines, the structure of control device parts, the circuit diagram of control devices, and genset maintenance and upkeep, based on their personal work experience, to promote trainees to understand and think seriously. In the practical training section, the trainers explained the key points of machine room installation and layout, genset inspection, and precautions through rich case studies and easy-to-understand expressions, as well as common causes and troubleshooting methods of genset failures, and allowed students to participate in the practice to master skills and methods. After the training and exams, winners of the theoretical and practical exams were commended and awarded according to the scoring standard.

"Through this practical training, we consulted with experts and exchanged ideas with each other. Some difficult points that were previously only partially understood are now much more familiar," said trainee Mr./Ms. Liu.

This training was highly recognized by the management team of Muyuan Foods. Joint training can better meet customer needs, help customers succeed, and lay a foundation for YCMGP to continue to explore the breeding market segment.
