On January 2, all the staff of the R&D Center, Management Department, and Finance Department of Guangxi Yuchai Marine and Genset Power Co., Ltd. （YCMGP） as well as the Yulin-based staff of the company's Domestic Marketing Department and Overseas Marketing Department gathered at the Multi-function Hall on the 4th floor of Yuchai Building to celebrate the second anniversary of the company's establishment. Ning Xingyong, Senior Vice President of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd., and Lu Yuming, Deputy Chief Accountant of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. attended the celebration.

Established on January 1, 2022, YCMGP was restructured from the Marine and Genset Power Business Unit of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. and has reached the second anniversary of its establishment. Since its establishment two years ago, YCMGP has made remarkable achievements in product development and sales, holding the largest marine and genset power market share, and its revenue continues to grow.

The celebration started with 6 staff members born in the same month as the company cutting a birthday cake together. Meanwhile, all the staff present sang a happy birthday song together to celebrate the second anniversary of the company. Then, while enjoying birthday cakes and other delicacies, they talked about their feelings about the second anniversary of the company. Ning Xingyong, the leader of YCMGP, was also born in January. Due to busy work, he had never had a birthday party. He admitted that this was the first time for him to receive flowers on his birthday. A director of overseas marketing said that "the company's overseas growth reached 30% in 2023, and we are confident to achieve 50% growth in 2024". A female R&D engineer said that "the lights on the 9th floor of Yuchai Building have never been turned off. At YCMGP, we value the can-do attitude and strive for success." Colleagues in the gas engine project said that they had made a breakthrough in ferroalloy tail gas engines and successful attempts to sell 12- and 16-cylinder gas engines, which boosted their confidence. A supporting engineer who joined the Marine and Genset Power Business Unit in 2012 upon its establishment admitted that he was lucky to witness the company's growth all the way and how YCMGP gradually gained a voice in the industry and put its name on the technical standards for genset radiators. A colleague who had just joined YCMGP in recent years commended the rapid development of engine technology. Two new employees thanked YCMGP for providing a platform for them to grow and thanked their leaders and colleagues for their help and support. A doctor suggested strengthening cooperation with high-end suppliers and constantly launching new products. Everyone was very happy and spoke freely. They celebrated YCMGP's second anniversary and wished the company another glory. The excitement was overwhelming in their words.

Finally, Ning Xingyong delivered a speech. He stressed that YCMGP had recently set up a decision-making committee to discuss and decide major issues collectively, carry out a scientific improvement of the management mechanism, and ensure the healthy and stable development of the company. He pointed out that YCMGP would further its expansion overseas in the future, implement a business unit management system, and make every effort to create a golden spectrum of marine and genset products, so as to achieve further development and become a world-class company. He said that YCMGP would provide more growth platforms for young employees and create conditions for their development, hoping that the younger generation could boldly show their strength and achieve outstanding performance.

On the same day, celebrations for the second anniversary of YCMGP were also held on the road in front of the buildings of the Production Department and the Foundry Business Unit, as well as on the first floor of the building for new product testing. Employees of the Process Quality Department, Production Department, Foundry Business Unit, and R&D Center working in the Test Center participated in these activities. Everyone gathered together, engaging in singing, dancing, talent performances, games, and lucky draws. They ate birthday cakes together and celebrated the second anniversary of YCMGP, wishing a better future for YCMGP and the group.
