Recently, the Yuchai YCA05-GS50 G-drive engine developed by Guangxi Yuchai Marine and Genset Power Co., Ltd. （YCMGP） was successfully certified to meet EU Stage V emission regulations and granted a certificate. This made it China's first G-drive engine product with a capacity exceeding 56kW that passed Euro V emission certification and obtained permission for entry into the European market.

Product development in accordance with Euro V regulations is very strange to YCMGP. To ensure the development progress of the project, YCMGP's A05 Project Team discussed the related laws and regulations over and over again to ensure no omission of any item to be developed. After several rounds of regulation discussion and multiple tests and verifications, the team completed many procedures, including factory registration, factory inspection, emission certification, and NCD & PCD certification, with the certificate obtained on February 12, 2024.

The Yuchai YCA05-GS50 engine is developed using an efficient SCR injection strategy to reduce exhaust pollution and realize the perfect integration of energy saving and environmental protection. This model has a maximum power of 140 kW and is compatible with 80kW-120kW gensets. Its application scope covers communication, power, industrial and mining enterprises, road and bridge, livestock breeding, and other sectors.
