On January 17, Su Yangzhou, the new general manager of Hainan Branch of China Classification Society （CCS）， and his entourage visited Yuchai and signed the Framework Cooperation Agreement with Guangxi Yuchai Marine and Genset Power Co., Ltd. （YCMGP）。 Ning Xingyong, Senior Vice President of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. attended the signing ceremony and had a conversation with the guests.

During the conversation, Ning Xingyong first introduced the R&D and sales of Yuchai's marine engines to the guests. Su Yangzhou highly praised Yuchai's achievements, affirmed the efficient cooperation between CCS and Yuchai in the past, and expressed great expectations for Yuchai's future progress. Su Yangzhou said that General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed to attach importance to the development of the marine economy, and the emerging industries and offshore engineering equipment manufacturing industry around the marine economy are developing well. He hoped Yuchai would seize the opportunity to achieve industrial upgrading and high-quality development through continuous technological innovation. The two sides also had a heated discussion on the development trend of new energy in the field of marine engines.

Huang Yongzhong, Deputy General Manager of YCMGP, and Ju Liqiang, Deputy General Manager of CCS Hainan Branch, signed the Framework Cooperation Agreement on behalf of the parties in the presence of Ning Xingyong and Su Yangzhou. According to the agreement, the parties will deepen strategic cooperation in technical exchanges, norms and standards, marine engine R&D and approval, inspection digitalization, quality management control, and international cooperation. Moreover, the two sides will share relevant information and conduct irregular exchanges to help YCMGP develop further in domestic and overseas markets.

Before the conversation, Su Yangzhou and his entourage also visited the No. 5 engine workshop of Yuchai's Manufacturing Department, Yuchai Science and Technology Museum, the large marine & G-drive engine production workshop, and the test center. They spoke highly of Yuchai's R&D, manufacturing, quality, and corporate culture.
