On April 25, Chongqing Dima Industry Co., Ltd. successfully assembled a 70kW genset with a low voltage of 200V and a medium frequency of 400Hz on an airport mobile power supply vehicle. This genset was equipped with the A05 CHINA IV engine produced by Guangxi Yuchai Marine and Genset Power Co., Ltd. （YCMGP）。 The successful application of this product marked the entry of YCMGP's CHINA IV engines into the high-end aero-engine market.

Currently, when aircraft maintenance is required, ground airport mobile power supply vehicles are needed to power the electrical equipment for aircraft. For YCMGP, airport mobile power supply vehicles represent a completely new application scenario. YCMGP's A05 CHINA IV engine features excellent performance in terms of low emissions, small vibrations, and low noise. It also has a small size and a compact structure and can fit the width of airport mobile power supply vehicles, so it can replace the original products of imported brands.

Due to the comprehensive technical support that Yuchai’s engineers provided on-site, the first A05 CHINA IV engine was able to be installed on the airport mobile power supply vehicle and was successfully accepted, receiving high recognition from the user.

It is said that the final gensets equipped with engines of this type will be exported to ASEAN to support local economic development.
