In the first quarter of 2023, in the Production Department of Guangxi Yuchai Marine and Genset Power Co., Ltd. （YCMGP）， production scheduler Li Xiaohong often received such calls to urge goods.

According to statistics, in the first quarter, YCMGP completed 369 V-type engine orders, a year-on-year growth of 44.71%.

There were many engine orders in the first quarter, and most of them were urgent. We cannot achieve the successful delivery of these orders without the early planning of the company and the coordination of relevant functional departments. Before this year, the company's leaders made an effective forecast of the demand for V-type engines and stocked the materials in advance. Process Quality Department would carry out random inspection of part quality to provide the best products for our customers. Staff from purchasing, production and marketing would meet regularly every week to share important information. Production of C/VC platform assembling and testing line was scheduled in advance to continuously roll materials, reasonably adjust resources, and improve efficiency for early output and delivery, ensuring every hard-won order.
