On May 31, during the finals of the 2023 Yuchai Group Employee Volleyball Competition, Guangxi Yuchai Marine and Genset Power Co., Ltd. （YCMGP） Women's Volleyball Team ushered in its highlight moment and defeated the previous champion, the team of the Process Engineering Department, to become the champion.

YCMGP Men's Volleyball Team lost to the previous champion, team 1 of the Manufacturing Department, and took second place.

At 8:00 pm that evening, the area around the No. 1 competition field in the Yuchai Community was crowded with employees' families. The hot and humid weather after the rain did not dampen their enthusiasm for watching the competitions.

At 8:05 pm, the women's volleyball final officially began, with the YCMGP team playing against the previous champion, the Process Engineering Department team.

The Process Engineering Department team had a good start, scoring first and leading 3-1, followed by ties at 3-3 and 4-4.

Then the situation began to reverse. The YCMGP team overtook the Process Engineering Department team by 5-4 until 10-5, 15-5, and 20-7, and then won the first game easily with a score of 25-12.

After switching sides, the two teams played the second set, and after a small climax with ties at 6-6 and 7-7, the Process Engineering Department team still could not beat the YCMGP team. The YCMGP team led all the way with scores of 15-10 and 20-10, winning easily with a score of 25-13.

In the third set, the Process Engineering Department team adapted to the YCMGP team's play style and played well. It tied with the YCMGP team with scores of 10-10, 12-12, 13-13, and 14-14, giving people hope.

But afterward, the YCMGP team took complete control and eventually won with a score of 25-19.

The YCMGP team won the championship with a final score of 3-0, and cheers erupted at the scene.

At the same time, the men's volleyball final was held in the Yuchai Gymnasium between the YCMGP team and team 1 the Manufacturing Department. The two sides fought fiercely for the champion title, and the cheers from both cheering squads echoed across the gymnasium.

The YCMGP men's team fought hard to win the championship title.

However, the defending champion, team 1 the Manufacturing Department, was still at its peak and would not give up the title easily.

In the first set, the YCMGP team won with a score of 25-21.

In the second and third sets, team 1 the Manufacturing Department reversed the situation with scores of 28-26 and 25-20.

In the fourth set, the YCMGP team fought back with a score of 27-25.

The decisive fifth set began, and after many ties, the score alternated until the YCMGP team led with scores of 12-9 and 13-10, then tied at 13-13 and 14-14. Unfortunately, the YCMGP team failed to seize the opportunity and lost two points in a row. In the end, team 1 the Manufacturing Department won the competition with a score of 16-14, successfully defending its championship title.

The young men's and women's volleyball teams of YCMGP have been winning easily in every round of the 2023 Yuchai Group Employee Volleyball Competition, from group matches to the quarter-finals and semi-finals, all with a score of 3-0. The young players on these teams have a promising future!
