On August 29, the Sea of Marmara in Turkey witnessed the sea trial of the first 46m Turkey fishing trawler with Yuchai YC6C electronic unit pump marine engine, indicating the expansion of the power range of YCMGP products on fishing trawlers in Turkey.

The achievement has exhibited a significant meaning in improving the quality of Yuchai products to compete in Turkey's marine engine market.

The Yuchai YC6C1100L-C20 marine engine, as a main driving force of the boat, adopts an electronic unit pump to register precise fuel supply and better fuel combustion. The marine engine embraces the advantages of low fuel consumption, low emission and fast acceleration response. The engine performed very well during the sea trial and reached a speed of 14.4 knots. The shipowner was satisfied with its strong power and stable speed.
