The high-profile Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway started trial operation, coinciding with the G20 Summit in Bali of Indonesia. As China's first overseas high-speed railway project, the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway links China's Belt and Road Initiative and Indonesia's Global Maritime Fulcrum strategy. Yuchai has contributed to the project with its G-drive engines. 90% of the gensets used during the construction of the project are equipped with Yuchai G-drive engines.
The Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway connects Jakarta, Indonesia's capital, and Bandung, the fourth largest city of Indonesia. With a maximum design speed of 350 km/h, the railway will cut the journey between Jakarta and Bandung from more than 3 hours to around 40 minutes. It is the first high-speed railway in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, and Indonesia becomes the first country in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations to have a high-speed railway.

·60% of the gensets used for the port cranes at the container terminal in Jakarta, Indonesia are equipped with Yuchai engines.

At present, the market share of YC DIESEL in Indonesia has increased significantly. Indonesia has become an important region for Yuchai's development in the ASEAN market.

In the rice harvester market, the rice harvesters of World Group equipped with YC4DK engine have been exported to Indonesia in batches. In 2021, Indonesian President Joko Widodo visited Malang of East Java to see the rice harvesting. The rice harvesters equipped with Yuchai YC4DK engine were arranged to operate on site, and were well received by President Joko Widodo for their excellent performance and reliable quality.
In the mining truck market, trucks of such manufacturers as XCMG and ZOOMLION equipped with Yuchai YC6K heavy-duty engine have been exported to Indonesia in batches. In the past, Indonesian customers only recognized mining trucks of other foreign high-end brands. However, Yuchai engines have conquered picky coal mine customers by virtue of their high cost performance, high operating efficiency and easy maintenance, as well as fuel efficiency and strong power.
·80% of the standardized fishing boats of the Indonesian government are equipped with Yuchai marine propulsion engines. In the marine engine market, Yuchai marine engines are widely used in fishing boats, passenger ships, and tugboats, and are favored by customers for their strong power and fuel efficiency. At present, Yuchai has extended its service network to Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. In the future, Yuchai will further expand the market to provide surging and energy-saving power for the new capital construction and freight transportation of Indonesia, contributing to the rapid and green development of Indonesia.
